Meet Carter!

I can't believe Baby Carter is ONE Year Old! He's not a baby anymore!!

 

I work with Carter's Momma, Mary, at Westport Road Baptist Church. I have looked up to her pretty much my entire life and have learned so much about being a mom from her! Carter is a very lucky little boy to have such amazing parents!

 

Little Mister Carter has two extreme moods- SUPER Happy or VERY Sad... Which meant that we had to do a couple mini-sessions with him to get the happy boy faces that we needed! The first session was at Anchorage Trail and the second was on his back porch at his home where we were sure he'd be comfortable and happy!

Josh & Andrea {Engagement} - Papa John's Park, Louisville

 Josh & Andrea are a captivating couple! Genuine, sweet, and so much fun! I loved reconnecting with my old buddy, Josh, from Louisville Male High School, and meeting his lovely fiancé, Andrea. They are crazy adorable together! Their session was at Papa John's Park which was an ideal location~ especially unique with all its water features! I had a blast on this engagement session, and now am even more excited to photograph their wedding this fall!

Thanks for a wonderful day, lovebirds! I can't wait 'til October!

Chris & Whitney {Wedding} - Louisville, KY

It is always an honor to be a part of a couple's wedding day, but it's extra special when it's a couple I already know and love! 

Whitney and I met in youth group together at Westport Road Baptist Church and became instant friends! Many fun-filled nights of memories together! I am so glad that as we have grown up that we have stayed in touch! I love Whitney and knew she would find her a good man, but when I met Chris, I was blown away! I KNEW he would be a wonderful match for Whit. They complement each other perfectly! It was truly a blessing just to be at this beautiful wedding and, of course, a delight to photograph! Congratulations to two people who show us all what true love looks like!

Special touches like this are my favorite! What an adorable Monogrammed Oxford with Whitney's New Last Initial!

 She even bought them for all of her bridesmaids!

Time for a Toast!

Chris & Whitney were married at our church, Westport Road Baptist! I loved photographing a wedding on my home turf!

Whitney's Something Blue was a signed note from her Dad sewn into her dress.

Whitney gave Chris the most creative gift! A bag full of thoughtful gifts, including a Love Story Book Whitney had filled out for him through their engagement.

I adore this photo! You can't see the bride before the wedding, but you can get pretty close! Anxious smiles!
